With all the lazyness of my blog of late i thought i should get back into the swing of it and who could convince me more then a 15 year old asian @ #wotachat Amy or Amimi as i call her. Best Group Single - C-ute : LALALA Shiawase no Uta

What can i say it has all the aspects i Admire from C-ute catchy as lyrics which boar into your brain and will never escape again.

Best Soloist Single - Matsuura Aya : Kichinto chicken

Well this one was a pretty hard one to pick as i really love Mikitty but i just didnt think this song was up to snuff with Kizuna from Ayaya. After all this i have confired with the judge and she said i could have kichinto chicken from Ayaya so in the end im going with that.

Best Group Album - Buono! : Cafe Buono!

Well its Buono! they have so many catch tunes on this album it has to be one of my fav H!P albums of all time and therefore beats out the competition this year.

Best Soloist Album - Kusumi Koharu - Kirari to Fuyu

Well it is Koha i dont particularly love her (unless shes in a bikini) but there wasnt that much competition and this album is still quite good so she wins.

Best PV - Athena and Robikerottsu : Seishun Love Lunch

This was gonna be down to Kiss Kiss Kiss and Seishun Love Lunch but the latter won out in the end with how truely awesomely cute the girls look. I love to see Gaki and Mitsui doing the non morning musume thing and have a happy upbeat song.

Group With Best Overall Releases - Buono!

Well i guess Buono! were my hit of the year they had an awesome CD with Superb singles and wrap that up with entertaining PV's makes them best releases of the year.

Best New Group (debuted in 2008) - Shugo Chara Eggs

With Buono! being a bit too old to fit in the catagory i have to say the Jail bait which is Shugo Chara Eggs will have to win it they just have the Kawaii factor and i love DAWA she is shy and hawt.

Best New Soloist (debuted in 2008) - Mano Erina

I dont really like any of the new soloists songs but since it doesnt say you need to like the songs i will go with Mano for just how freaking hot she is and with a PB coming i see her only getting a bigger following

Best Established Group (did not debut in 2008) - Berryz Koubou-Desu

Well its berryz they are H!P best group currently in the biz and they have done some really good work in 2008. Their singles were top notch concerts/dvd's also top notch and the girls are looking good so berryz hands down

Best Established Soloist (did not debut in 2008) - Ayaya

I didnt see that much from Ayaya this year but with all the other soloists not doing much either, Aya won with her kichinto chicken song.

Best Photobook - Risa : Happy Girl

Well what can i say i have had a risa wallpaper on my desktop since release so this was pretty much a non contest sorry amimi another vote taken away for Airi :(

Hottest Idol of 2008 - Nocchi

Well this took a lot of contemplation i kinda wanted to go off the mark and say makochin because damn she has come back looking fine and also risa because who doesnt wub her to bits but in the end Chi has it all this year so my hats off to her. After all this i have gone back and thought of Nocchi and how much i love and forget about her so im giving u the flick chi sorry.

those were my Bests of 2008 now for my worst's which is gonna give me a lot of grief.

Worst Group Single - Ongaku Gatas : Come Together

Well I love the combination of girls 4th gen mm mai-chan and best of all nocchi but still this single left no impact on me and i really couldnt be bothered giving a try i may have liked it more if i did though sorry girls.

Worst Soloist Single - Kasumi Koharu : Papancake

I may have said its an ok album but the single really doesnt do it for me so its down here not saying its bad just saying there was so many ood releases

Worst PV - Morning Musume : Resonant Blue

Its not that i dont like the release but i hate on the PV just because it didnt give everyone a fair chance. Was thinking about giving it to come together but i love the close up nocchi version mmmmm nocchi.

Worst Vocalist of 2008 - Nakajima Saki

Well she is C-ute and pretty to look at but Nakisaki sure doesnt have the nices voice still the more you hear her it kinda grows on your but i cant let it slide.

Least Attractive Girl of 2008 - nakazawa yuko

Well people are gonna hate me for saying it but Yuu-chan is up against so much stiff competition still doesnt mean i wouldnt hit that.

NEW Kamei Eri PB

Ok this post comes from inspiration from #wotachat we were looking at the front cover of the new Eri PB and we all were getting a bit hot and bothered by how good Kamei is looking. Then a few choice classy comments soon followed.....

wonderfull hearts buri buri battle

Buri Buri 4 Life

Ok so i was thinking about the last wonderful hearts with the current members of H!P and how cool this kind of MC would be. Sayumi takes the stage microphone in hand shes all like "welcome to the first ever H!P buri buri battle, Ok so here are the contestants", Sayumi looks around and says "we dont need any as Sayumi wins anyway by default she is the cutest after all :)". Then Momo walks out like "choto matte ill put a $50 on me for the win" with confidence in hand, "as i can buri buri with the best of them". Sayumi comes back with some sort of witty retort like "Everyone knows sayu's the cutest". Then Airi walks out and is like "you girls are try hards i dont even have to try and i am too damn cute as is, imagine if i went all buri buri on your asses".

In the middle of the whole commotion the whole group of eggs walk out and say "look at us we are way cuter then you grandmas", but in unison the other three shout "eggs dont count they are cute by default" and agree on the first thing yet and send them all back stage. Then shit really hits the fan next when Ishikawa walks out and is all like "i am the queen of cute just because you girls are younger then me doesn't mean i still cant pummel you into the ground under my cuteness. I have more cuteness then a basket of puppies snuggling with a basket of infants in a field of roses so i wont lose you you inferior knockoff's".

Now soon to be leader of H!P gets up on stage Ai chan used to able to do cute... that was pretty much her thing she could do cute and sing which was somewhat rare them days. She starts on to the girls "enough of this its not time to do this settle it in your own time, anyway there is no use for this because everyone knows im the cutest dont you remember when i wore the cat outfit thats as cute as anything can ever come." The other girls pipe in "thats no buri buri you arnt buri buri get off the stage" in a defiant voice "you are still 100 years too early to challenge us."

Next is what we all have been waiting for Matsuura Aya she comes in with her duck face on looking as cute as she ever has. She pipes in "ask any Ayaya fan here or over the world they will tell you Ayaya is the cutest thats why they made me a solo artist, Tsunku said i was too cute to be a member of Momosu he said i'd take all the attention from the other girls." then she folds down her eyelid with her tongue out in probably the cutest display of defiance the world has ever seen.

Last but definitely not least Mikitty comes out and is all like "i could rip the head off a kitten and still be the cutest girl in the room. Haven't you girls ever seen me all buri buri before i have literally killed camera men doing it so its banned in 49 states of America so its Hawaii only nowadays. My cuteness is like Medusa on acid if you see it beware it will kill but unlike Medusa there is no coming back from this but at least they died for a reason any man should be lucky to lay eyes upon queen miki."

Then as a reference to Henkka's blog Yoko walks out and joins with Ishikawa, Fujimoto and with their powers combined they are the Killer Bitch Unit of H!P and run into the crowd weapons in hand and in a violent rampage send everyone to heaven before they are sent to hell. If i had anyway to die it would probably involve fujimoto and Rika but it may not involve a chainsaw but thems the breaks got 2 out of 3 parts of my wish come true then i would still have to die a happy man.

Well ill leave it at that i could seriously go on for hours about this but i don't have the time and im sure it would get a whole lot more boring for the reader :). Hope you enjoyed a part of my story i had fun writing it and hope there will be more randomness in my blog from now on while releases have died down again for this cycle.

Shugo Chara Egg かわいい'ness Does it for Me

The start is very pretty just like the girls

Well the new unit has just put out their first single Minna no Tamago and all i can say is wow i didn't expect too much from them but their cuteness + actually catchy fun song really did it for me and i can see some new stars climbing up the H!P ladder. It really shows you that H!P isnt stale yet even though they are kinda Mini Moni styles but we have had that style snatched away from us years ago and im glad these guys are bringing the catchy upbeat costumey H!P of old back which i loved.

I am sure girls what look like this will get me in trouble one day

Ok well lets start with the girls they are all very Kawaii but what else would i expect for a group of 13 year old girls come idols. I am sure that these Japanese companies try and make me commit some crimes with young girls, which could put me in jail for a long time and with this act it is no exception. Their knee high socks and short skirts are pretty much what every man looks or in a bit of lolicon and in this situation it works out so well also, Mix that with a bit of anime themed singing and dancing this should be an instant hit to all wota and loli kind.

Wow a flying egg and a rainbow.... HUH?

As for the style of the PV itself as with usual H!P fashion it is a 100% blue screen 1 set job with al the rest of it 3d animation and a cartoon clip thrown in here and there for good measure. I cant really complain about that style for a group like this because it is meant to all be fimed in the middle of a rainbow on a floting egg so its 3d animation or nothing in this premise i guess :). As i mentioned before the costumes are very intoxicating but also look top notch and the dance would be very catchy i am sure if i could dance or cared to try and dance.

Now onto the members individually Maeda Yuka is what i assume to be the leader of the group in the red with the heart shaped insignia, I will start here by saying my love for vertical pony tails knows no bounds and she has one of the best ones here that i have ever laid my eyes on which pretty much gave me instant favoritism for her. Her voice reminds me somewhat of a Mitsui Aika vibe and her face is pretty much as cute as key come.

Next we have Fukuda Kanon in the green club outfit who everyone has been resembling to a Mini Moni era Aibon and i see some of that resemblance with a rounder face and cute styles. From most of what i have seen about posts about this PV see seems like she will become a fan favorite already winning over many peoples hearts. She got the green style maid outfit and i am just wondering if people just have a maid complex or if her looks and charm have taken the audience by storm.

Her smile could stop wars if not at least small tiffs

Also there is Saho Akari who is the blue spade who i would say has the most unusual look in the group but not in a bad way, it might just also be because she got the most unusual outfit to wear. I find her voice to be deaper and contrasts well with the other girls, Her uniform is more of the tom boys with the mainly covered hair and smaller no fluffy skirt. Over all she brings balance to the group and shows that they all really have their own unique style.

Oyshi Poseu

Last but not least we have Wada Ayaka the yellow diamond who every time i watch the PV grows on me more and more, expecially her voice which is why i think i am loving the PV as much as i am. She is put in the middle with Yuka and i have a feeling these 2 will be the main stars of the group, she like all the other girls is also very cute and this time they've given her Airi style pig tails they may not look as good on her as Airi, but Airi is unsurpassed in most things like that :). I think i will be keeping my eye on this girl as i am sure she has an addictable personality, I guess the eggs will probably have much more planned for us next year (fingers crossed).

Well i guess the theme and dance are all originated from things which happen for the Anime which this is made for but as i havent seen that before it seems very much of the mahou shoujo genre if i am not mistaken and was never really my bag. Seeing as some of the best H!P music nowadays is being made for this show i might have to give it a watch and see if it is worthy of the quality Buono and now the eggs are giving it. One thing which thoroughly surprised me about this group is that all the girls seems to be able to sing unlike so many other H!P attempts, where some of the girls are just pretty and comical and stand at the back of the PV but with 4 members they cant really afford that.

Well with every season of Shugo Chara i guess we can be expecting a new single and PV and now i am looking forward to hearing and expecially seeing more of the girls in the not too distant future. Also hopefully they get to perform with say Buono! on their concert tour for a Shugo Chara concert and hopefully fingers crossed i wil get tickets to see them next year. If all my dreams align i will be a happy man but i guess only time will tell. I think thats about as in depth a review i can do without knowing a little bit more from the girls, I am awaiting maybe a making of or some sort of live event or TV event i can see the girls while not in charactor. H!P Retro Corner 1

H!P retro corner here i am gonna talk about my favorite H!P moments most of them will probably be Utaban / Morning Musume combinations but still who can pass up a bit of Taka and Nakai they are gods among comedy. My first thinking's on this subject leads me to Happy7 shuffle group and the awesomeness that they were, so the first scene will be how their Maji de Dejima which rocked my world and hopefully yours too. When i first saw this clip for the next few days i would just walk around doing the hand movements with a huge smile on my dial :), im sure many people didn't get what i was doing but i sure had fun doing it anyway.

Kago and Tsuji Doing Their Do

Kago really gets into it and i have a feeling she and Tsuji made it up as there is other clips of them to doing it, which is also good but Happy7's is best when they did it on the shuffle special. Ok set your mind back 6 years when H!P was still very Morning Musume or nothing and fabulous shuffle groups happened every year the happiness groups of 2002 were apon us and we got the group of the up and comers. It contained soon to be 3/4 of Mini Moni so you can tell thats a great start and also Leader and subleader of now Morning Musume so, it was really an all star group and one which will go down in the ages with me as some of the funnest H!P moments ever. Ok now after all that said watch the video and if you don't hurt yourself laughing or at least imitating you have no soul :). Hope you enjoyed the first retro corner and hopefully i get round to making quite a few more to spread the H!P love around to all that haven't seen it. Also thanks for all the people who subbed Utaban over the years, they have made my life so much more enjoyable also thanks to nakai and taka for all the laughs they have given me, for now cya later and enjoy.

Suzuki Airi Yorosen

Airi Pimping the Pink

Where to start it is my favorite c-ute star and she really lives up to this in her series of yorosen episodes as teacher. The first thing i noticed wasn't Airi though on this occasion it was Chisa thought looking delightfully delicious this week, first she starts in chisa fashion fooling around with a huge smile on. The thing is now when shes doing it shes looking very cute and adorable rather then her tomboy look and she brings an instant smile to my face. Even a few weeks ago i would have said Chisato is my least favorite c-ute member but i think with her new look change my ideas about her are changing and i can see her moving swiftly up the ranks.

Well i should start here with episode 1 when we find out airi is doing her lessons as the PE teacher and she walks out looking as cute and irresistible as ever. Today Chisato does the daily duties and seems to have a ball doing it, We should know if its PE and Airi its gonna be about golf and tada it is. She teaches the Girls all about the layout of a golf course and once again for this episode Chisa takes a lot of the spotlight with her knowledge of golf. The standout was the Iyaa Bunker when airi tells then thats what golf players say when they hit the ball into a bunker.

Well the thought doing talking about more then one yorosen episode this week makes me feel like i will repeat over the same thing many times as with most yorosen, not much really happens and 4mins really is not a good length for a show. They should just combine all the H!P groups and made a non boring version of haromoni as the system worked so well for so many years before they tried to butcher it. Maybe keep kamei and Risas moutube segment but the rest could be trash worthy and im sure berryz and c-ute would have spiced it back up, the news segments and theater have always been the fan favs so why did they kill them off :(. Anyway enough with today's rant at the end of what was meant to be a nice yorosen talk about Airi which got skewed off into the wrong directions but anyway im glad i got this off my chest and next post i shall do some ranting on a yet undetermined subject of my choosing. Buono Rottara Rottara PV

I love the dreamy look in her eyes shes calling for me again right?

Well here i am back with a new PV the latest release from the Berryz and C-ute side group Buono, I always love the Buono releases for their colour and style plus the short skirts and this one is no exception. While it may not be as cool story orientated as usual this is set back in the 60's with cool colours and a nice background set. First thing i can see is they didnt give the girls enough of their own personality this time which is what i usually enjoy from a Buono release but still the girls look and sound great. The song is as catchy and cool as all the other previous buono releases and i am happy that they have kept up the style and not veered off course, as they say if it aint broke dont fix it. It mixes in the catchy hooks and shows us again why they picked some of the best singing hello kids singers and put them together because they gel just right.

Airi i think is what makes this group exceptional ive worked out this equation for that, Airi + Anyone = win. It works also with C-ute but varies slightly Airi + Maimi + Anyone = Epic Win but anyway Ive strayed from the subject need to get back on course. Lotta Love is an interesting colour fest full with all the pastel colours of the rainbow and will bring you back to when women wore dotted dresses and over sized bows in their hair. The girls are looking exceptionally thighalicious if that is a word and their patented bum push is in there so a true buono fan should absolutely still adore it.

As i say all that about it i still feel that i would love to see the girls in more then 1 location and with more then 1 set of clothes and maybe i have been spoiled in the past but still the heart wants what the heart wants. I am definitely not a huge Momo fan and never have been but with every subsequent release the love seems to grow on me, i used to to think she was over rated and tried to hard to do cute which most of the other girls seems to do naturally. As for now i feel like im beginning to see the glimpse of what ever Momo fan sees and i am looking forward to seeing her PB and im sure by the end of that i will be more smitten then ever.

As for Miyabi she i think no matter what Momo says is the real leader behind the group she is there to keep me focused that its not just about the short skirts its much more then that its some real competition to the other hello kids groups and they hold their own quite nicely. If this had a bit more of effort like usual put into it, it probably would have been my favorite PV of the 3 but alas it is probably my least favorite, but my favorite song so hopefully they spend some more love on buono's 6th release in the near future. Well that concludes my wrap up of the 3 H!P PV's of this round and hope if anyone was there reading them enjoyed some of my incite as much as i have getting it off my chest and till next time Enjoy.

C-ute PV Forever Love

Well i got pretty ambitious yesterday and did 3 posts well today i am also gonna do another one. This time since i did berryz Madayade yesterday it must be the time to do C-ute's Forever Love and maybe next it might even be time for a bit of Buono action since i love them so much, but enough of that onto the PV. Well where do you start with this its C-ute with Maimi and Airi front and centre as i always think it should be as they are the power houses of sex and cuteness respectively in the bunch. I dont want to sound too perverted so also i will mention that i think they are also awesome singers and dancers also but it definitely helps that they are eye candy. Anyway back to the topic at hand we have the girls in suits rocking it and also casual wear if you can call it that.

The cutey i lub you scenes is what really made the PV only if it was just 4mins of that i could have died a happy man, oh the dreams let them come real. On a whole other note the girls costumes are pretty good except for Kanna her stylist must hate her or something with that brown, beige golfer style getup, like wtf were they thinking, other then that the rest of the girls style has grown on me. Airi i didnt really get the poncho at first and still dont but still she could wear a paper bag and look amazing, actually note to Tsunku next PV airi needs a paper bag thats it (Drools). I guess on a whole they are going for a winter style theme or something and i can live with it and do enjoy the casual style more then the suits still.

The suits just dont do it for me but if anyone told me the new C-ute PV would invole them singing and dancing while pimped out in suits i would have though sweet but this just doesnt seem like what i thought it would be. They should have been like the matrix with guns a blazing take the red pill style but instead they were just suits and nothing more oh my fanatsy how its been dashed. Its a good thing seeing Saki centre not quite up front but for a majority of the time shes dancing her little heart out at the centre of the group and would like to see more of her in the future as every day she will become higher on the ranks of C-utedom. I can also honestly say Chistato looks great in this PV and thats one thing im looking forward to is the transformation for her into womanhood, I do love a tomboy here and there but its not that tomboys cant look womanly from time to time.

On a whole this release grew more on me over time and i am sure i will grow to love it even more the more i watch it. I am still unsure if it will be on my best of C-ute album though only time will tell and i guess i need to wait a few more months for another release from the girls at least in the mean time there will be the making of the PV which is always a good way to tide me over and fall in love with the release all over gain. Well i think thats all the typing i have in me today its been a long day and i need to just chillax out :) or something like that. Hopefully someone ejoys reading this and would like to hear some feedback if anyone is willing :)

Well where can i start with this i really don't have the time to talk about every part of it so i will start with saying how the whole list of songs make it really awesome as all their latest sings are included play some of my favs. When i say my favs i am referring to all their up beat songs such as Lalala Shiawase No Uta and Ooki na Ai de Motenashite, which are so catchy and what i expect every time from a C-ute release and am let down lately on that fact but then always love what they release anyway. I guess i just really want a song which burns a hole in the back of my skull that will haunt me in an asylum one day, when all i hear is lalala reverberating from the padded walls of my cell. Well enough random ranting i must digress i stared this post for a certain reason and that was for their English play MC section of the tour which was what i have been looking forward to seeing from when i read the set list and had to wait many a month to see it.

Well this segment is awesome not Chinami English awesome but its hard to get that awesome and definitely not nono English awesome as nono is king of English but still very good. I would have loved it a lot more if that butchered our language like usual but actually it all was pretty easy to listen to and under stand much like momo's dogadoga7 intro.



It would have been nice to see Maimi and Airi get in on it but oh well we all can dream cant we and they are quite the attention whores anyway but i wouldn't want it any other way. One thing i didn't think i wouldn't be that keen on was Chisato who usually is pretty much on the bottom for my list of C-ute members but she is the one who made this segment even though i guess it was written for her, but still i loved it when she got clean and clean.

Next berryz concert i would kill to have this with Chinami, Maasa and ....... actually all of them they are so hard to choose from (Please ask me to kill for you Marge Risako). Anyway i dont want to actually tell you anything about it as it only runs for about 3mins so i will just say WOW to how all the girls looked in the pink dresses with Bows and ero mode (juicy juicy teenage thighs which any man would get nose bleeds from) anyway back to topic the girls looked great and I would highly recommend a gander. Hopefully someone enjoys reading this as much as i have writing it and enjoy the movie.

Berryz new PV / Song Madayade

Well since the first post was a basic introduction i thought i should do some writing about the new Berryz PV to get your H!P hearts a racing. I can honestly say i was a bit disappointed with this release as it all just doesn't seem to mesh as well as previous berryz releases but that might just be because the lineup before this one was pretty stellar, with the likes of the 2 previous titles yuke yuke and Genghis khan.

I do like power ranger style and office lady style outfits and as always the girls look outstanding but i would have liked a bit less wtf money coming from the sky and lets watch out for the evil western world gaijin they are gonna boss us around. I would have much more preferred the girls to be just getting up to 100% no good and a little bit more skin or at least tighter....., what can i say i like my idols with short shirts so shoot me :).

Ok now i have a few things off my chest i shall move on to probably more useless information i'd like to share with you. Well i could always ask H!P Wota you Doing to these releases but that would just inspire a general unanimous consensus of thats lame from readers plus in this case it still isnt valid as the release was still high above the threshold where i wont enjoy them any more. Well i guess I will leave it here for the while so i can do another post about the latest C-ute concert which i have been enjoying segments from. Anyway hopefully someone reads this and all my efforts aren't in vein and if you do hope you enjoyed my first substance post.

Introduction Welcome and Rambles what more could we need

Well I have loved to read so many hello project blogs over my time and I thought well why not make my own, as I have been longing to for some time now here it is.

Well as a start no one in the world of Wotas shall know me yet as i am more of a reader then a poster so i guess i start with some sort of introduction.

OK Here goes

I am a 25 year old Male from Australia who engages in the past time of Japanese Idol Viewing :)

My Favorite artist over the years has been Morning Musume but with the arrival of some competition in the way of Berryz and C-ute, has somewhat swayed me away as of late expecially with the lack of movement from the Musume camp.

Guess as this is more of a spur of the moment thing i will add pictures and pretty colours in the near future so sorry for the drab boring look ATM.

Ok Now we have that out of the way I guess you get the Punnyness of the blog (Wota you doing) i first apologize as It seemed like a good idea to me and can be used in a few predetermined situations if i want to at a later date.

Anyway I will leave it at that for now and do something idol related in my next post i promise.... that's if anyone reads it if not i will apologize to myself for not letting my mind wonder off to idolly pleasures.
